Yoshie Nakayama

Yoshie Nakayama is a producer, trombonist, and singer in LA. Received scholarship and graduated from Berklee College of Music with Contemporary Writing and Productions diploma, and Kunitachi College of Music with Music Education degree and Music Instructor's License at high school and junior high school. 

Producing a-cappella or any instrumentation of music is her joy. She had great experiences with arranging for the concert with/for guest artists such as Joyce Moreno, Milton Nascimento, and Color Violeta which led her to receive Contemporary Writing and Productions Achievement Award at Berklee. Berklee brought her to perform with legendary artists such as Joyce Moreno, John Patitucci, Danny Rivera, Ambrose Akinmusire, Stefon Harris, Tiger Okoshi, Tsunenori 'Lee' Abe, and so on.

After Berklee, she worked with Casa Limon for Alejandro Sanz as producer/trombonist of the band for the live broadcasting TV program, 'RiseUp As One' by Univision that was held in San Diego, CA. The Music Director of Sanz, Mike Ciro, Casa Limon, and Univision gave a positive feedback about the show that reached out to over 80 million people.
Joining the concert of Jacob Collier at MIT is also one of her unforgettable music experience from her Boston life.

Yoshie has a wide range of arrangement style with instrumentation such as a-cappella, pop band, big band, orchestra, and with style of music such as Jazz, Japanese, Motown, Latin, Pop, Electric Pop, etc. 

She is looking forward to her career in LA where she re-located since 2017.
